Fashion Photography Course
This course demonstrates the difference between portraiture and fashion photography. Portraiture represents an individual showing their features to allow the viewer to recognise the identity of the subject and often gives an indication of character.
However, fashion photography is quite different. The fashion model as an individual is not the point of the photograph; the model is a means to an end, to show off clothes and make-up, to set a scene, to be a graphic image or just to be attractive. The course examines two types of fashion photography:
- Mail order and advertising. Mail order catalogues are big business and a source of regular work for professional photographers.
- Creation of model portfolios.
The cost of this course is £525
