Two Day Advanced Portraiture Course
The course covers the following elements:

  • Executive portraiture
  • Graduate and academic portraiture
  • Portraiture of children
  • Make-over portraits (to include an actual make-over
  • High/low key lighting and photography
  • Marketing (in recent years we have taken over our entire marketing strategy rather than using an agent

The cost of this course is £525

Commercial Photography Course
This course covers the following elements:

  • Product Photography - demonstrations of lighting used to illustrate various products and use of ancillary equipment including the use of the still-life table. Practical sessions involve you in lighting exercises and photography of glass, ceramics, silver, leather etc. which also add value to your portfolio.
  • Brochure Photography - includes location work and interior and exterior photography of buildings.

The cost of this course is £425

Fashion Photography Course
This course demonstrates the difference between portraiture and fashion photography. Portraiture represents an individual showing their features to allow the viewer to recognise the identity of the subject and often gives an indication of character.

However, fashion photography is quite different. The fashion model as an individual is not the point of the photograph; the model is a means to an end, to show off clothes and make-up, to set a scene, to be a graphic image or just to be attractive. The course examines two types of fashion photography:

  • Mail order and advertising. Mail order catalogues are big business and a source of regular work for professional photographers.
  • Creation of model portfolios.
